Why use doggie daycare?

• Dogs are social animals. The companionship of people and other dogs at daycare makes these dogs calmer and easier to live with at home.
• Regular exercise on resilient surfaces is important for proper skeletal development in dogs under the age of 2 years.
  

What does doggie daycare provide?

Play and exercise:

• Supervised play with other dogs.
• We have multiple play areas so that we can group dogs of compatible strength and energy level.
• Spacious fenced play yards outdoors, and climate-controlled indoor play areas for comfortable exercise year-round.

Social interactions with other dogs and with people:

• Many dogs develop special friendships with their playmates.
• Petting and play with people to provide the human attention dogs crave.

A "home away from home"

• Comfortable rest areas are provided.
• Snacks for growing dogs and treats for all, if the owner approves.
• We will provide any special care your dog needs.

Opportunities to practice good manners

• We reinforce calm, well-mannered behavior.
• You may sign up for additional obedience training if you wish. See our training fact sheet for descriptions of your options.

Is my dog eligible for daycare?

• The dog must be comfortable in the company of other dogs.

If you think your dog might be too timid or defensive, call us to schedule a free evaluation. Some of these dogs can be taught to enjoy play groups.

• We accept all breeds and sizes.

Smaller and less boisterous dogs will play in separate groups from the rough-and-rowdy dogs.

• Dogs over the age of 6 months must be neutered or spayed.

Do I have to sign my dog up for a full day?

• Half-day rates are also available.
