In our classes, we teach you (the owner) to train your own dog using force-free methods based on current scientific research. Our instructors, Janece Rollet and Ellen Sam, have over 18 years experience each. Their methods emphasize the importance of the personal bond and mutual trust you share with your dog. In addition to training happy, friendly and obedient pet dogs they have also trained service dogs for the handicapped and law enforcement K-9s. They were educated at Purdue University and were jointly awarded the prestigious Association of Pet Dog Trainers Ian Dunbar member of the year award for 2005.
Group classes are scheduled for weekday evenings for the convenience of those who must work or attend school during the day. Click here to view the current training calendar. Private lessons are available on Saturdays by appointment. Contact us for more information regarding private lessons.
